Send Booking Notifications in Your Customers' Language
Default notification templates across Calendars, Services and Rentals now appear in the language set on your Business Profile, instead of English only. That covers Email, SMS and WhatsApp notifications wherever each product supports them. Anything you have already customised is left untouched, exactly as you saved it.
Which notifications are translated?
Default templates across all three products are covered, for every recipient type each product sends to. Calendars covers the Assigned User, Additional Email, Additional Phone, Contact and Guest templates. Services and Rentals cover all of their own notification recipients.

Where does the language come from?
From one place only: the Platform Language on your Business Profile. Every notification template across every product, recipient type and channel reads from that single setting, so changing it there changes everything consistently.
What happens to templates I have already edited?
They stay exactly as you saved them. A customised template is never overwritten, re-translated or reset. Only untouched default templates pick up the localised version, so the wording you worked on is safe.
How do I switch my existing calendars over?
Existing calendars, services and rentals keep their current English templates by default, even if you have never edited them. To pick up the translated version, click Reset to Default on the notification template you want. That reset is what triggers the translation.
- For calendars, go to Calendar Settings, then Notifications, for the calendar you want to update.
- For Services or Rentals, go to Global Settings, then Notifications.
- Open the notification template you want translated.
- Click Reset to Default.
What about calendars I create from now on?
New calendars, services and rentals locations display their default notification templates in your Business Profile Platform Language straight away. There is nothing to reset and nothing to configure.
You will find these settings under Calendar Settings, then Notifications, and under Global Settings, then Notifications, for Services and Rentals.
