You can now build a WhatsApp template by describing it in plain words instead of filling in every field yourself. Choose AI Template under Create Template, say what you want the message to do, and Ignite Funnels drafts it for you with the right personalisation variables already in place. The draft arrives already sorted into the message category Meta uses, so it is closer to approval before you even submit it.

What does the AI Template option actually do?

It turns a sentence about your use case into a finished WhatsApp template draft. You describe the scenario and who it is going to, such as a payment reminder or a delivery update, and the draft comes back with the wording and the personalisation variables filled in. You then review and edit it before anything goes to Meta.

• Drafts the message body from your description, with Ignite Funnels variables ready to personalise.
• Classifies the draft as Utility, Marketing or Authentication, the same three categories Meta uses to decide which sending rules apply.
• Checks length, formatting and policy fit as you write, and tells you what to change before you submit.

How do I create a template this way?

The whole process runs inside the WhatsApp templates area and takes a few minutes. You describe the message, review what comes back, adjust anything you want changed, then send it to Meta for approval as normal.

1. Go to CRM > WhatsApp > Templates > Create Template > AI Template.
2. Describe your use case and who the message is for.
3. Review the drafted template, the category it was given, and any validation hints shown.
4. Edit the copy, the variables and the buttons if you want something different.
5. Submit the template for Meta approval.

Why does the template category matter?

Meta applies different sending rules depending on which category a template falls into. Utility templates are not held to the same per-customer frequency limits that Marketing templates are, so a message filed under the wrong category can be throttled or rejected. Drafting with the category built in means fewer surprises at approval time and fewer at send time.

Who should use this?

Anyone who sends WhatsApp templates and has had one rejected without a clear reason. Building a template field by field and finding out days later that Meta did not accept it is wasted work. Getting the formatting and the category checked while you write turns that into an immediate fix.
