Reuse Your Brand Files in Every WhatsApp Template
Your Media Library now opens directly inside the WhatsApp template builder. When you add a header image, video, document or audio file to a template, you can pick a file you have already uploaded instead of downloading it and uploading it again. This works for new templates and for edits to templates you already use.
How do I add media to a WhatsApp template?
Choose the header type first, then choose where the file comes from. The Media Library opens inside the builder and shows only the files that match the header type you picked, so you cannot attach the wrong kind of file by mistake.
- Select the header type: Image, Video, Document or Audio.
- Choose how to add the media: upload from your computer, or choose from the Media Library.
- The Media Library opens inside the builder and filters your files to match the header type.
- Select the file and carry on building your template. Nothing needs downloading or re-uploading.
What file types can I use in a template header?
Each header type accepts a specific set of formats. Audio headers are supported, so you can send a recorded voice message or announcement as part of a template.
- Images: JPG, PNG
- Videos: MP4
- Documents: PDF
- Audio: MP3
Why does this matter for my business?
Most businesses send the same handful of files over and over: a price list, a logo banner, a product video, a directions PDF. Keeping those in one library means every template uses the current version, and setting up a new campaign takes minutes instead of a round of file hunting.
