Reuse Lessons From One Course in Another
You can import content from an existing course straight into another course from within the Courses Builder. Pull across a single lesson, a module, or an entire course structure, without rebuilding anything by hand. Everything imported lands in the destination course ready to edit.
How do I import content?
The import runs from the Add Content dropdown inside the course you are building. A dedicated import modal lets you browse your other courses and pick exactly what you want, and a progress modal tracks the import as it runs.
- Open the course you want to add content to in the Courses Builder.
- Open the Add Content dropdown and choose Import from Another Course.
- Browse and select the source course in the import modal.
- Choose what to import: individual lessons, modules and submodules, or the entire course structure.
- Run the import and track it in the progress modal.
What exactly gets copied across?
The import carries the content and its structure, not just the text. Media, thumbnails and assessment material all come with it, so an imported module works the same way in its new course.
- Lesson titles and structure
- Module and submodule hierarchy
- Videos and attached media
- Lesson and media thumbnails
- Descriptions and formatted content
- Quiz questions and associated lesson content
- Assignment materials and supporting resources
Who should use this?
This is for anyone running several courses that share material, such as a common onboarding module or a standard introduction. Reusing a proven lesson keeps your curriculum consistent across courses and cuts the manual work of building similar ones from scratch.
