Communities has been rebuilt inside the Unified Client Portal and GoKollab, so it now sits alongside Courses, Dashboard, Billing, Shared Files, Affiliates and Account Settings in one branded portal. Members move between a discussion and a lesson without the page reloading. Existing content, members, courses and settings carry over with no migration needed.

What changes for members moving between courses and discussions?

Members move straight between community discussions and their courses without leaving the portal. Courses open inside the Learning tab rather than loading the older separate application, and a member picks up at the exact lesson where they stopped. Progress is kept when switching back and forth.

What is different about the discussion feed?

The feed has been redesigned so content is easier to find, read and reply to. Comments, replies and attachments now show inside the feed itself instead of behind another click. The post and comment editors have been rebuilt to make writing more straightforward.

What can I moderate from the feed itself?

The three-dot menu on each post now carries the moderation actions admins previously had to go elsewhere for. You handle a problem post without leaving the discussion.

Have the community settings moved?

Settings have been reorganised into dedicated sections, so configuring a group takes less hunting around. Each area now groups related options together.

• Choose a predefined community theme and customise the look

How do I switch it on?

Turning it on is a single click and nothing needs migrating first. Your existing community content, members, courses and settings all carry over automatically.

1. Open Ignite Funnels and go to the Client Portal Dashboard.
2. Select Enable to activate the new experience.
