Collecting answers is one thing; having them as a tidy document you can print or send is another. A new Generate submission document setting creates a formatted PDF of every new submission and files it against the contact automatically. It is available on forms, surveys and quizzes, and you control it separately for each one.

How do I switch it on?

It is a single toggle in the settings panel, off by default. Once it is on, every new submission produces a PDF without any further action.

1. Open the settings for a form, survey or quiz.
2. Turn Generate submission document on.

What goes into the PDF?

The document contains every question and the answer that was submitted, laid out so it can be read or printed as it is. It also records the submission date and time and the contact's details, so the file stands on its own as a record.

Where do I find the documents afterwards?

Each PDF is stored on the contact who submitted it, under Documents, in a folder matching the type. From there you can view it, download it or use it elsewhere in the CRM, on a computer or on a phone.

How are the files named?

Names follow a fixed pattern, so files sort sensibly and you can find a submission by contact or by date without opening anything.

• Quizzes: Result_[FormName]_[ContactName]_[YYYY-MM-DD_HHMM]

What should I know before turning it on?

PDF generation applies only to submissions received after you enable the setting. Submissions already in your account are not converted, and leaving the toggle off means no documents are created at all.
