You can now add a short role tag to each staff member, and it appears as a badge on their card when a customer chooses who to book with. Tags like "Lead Therapist" or "Senior Consultant" tell a customer at a glance who is the right fit, instead of leaving them to guess from a plain list of names. It also gives your senior staff visible credit for their experience.

How do I add a badge to a staff member?

You add the badge from the staff member's own settings, under their basic details. Each staff member can carry one badge of up to 30 characters, and it shows on the booking widget as soon as you save.

1. Go to Services, then Staff.
2. Click Edit on the staff member you want to tag.
3. Open the Basic details tab and find the Staff badge dropdown.
4. Add a new badge or select one you have already created.
5. Save. The badge now shows next to that person during staff selection.

Do I have to recreate the same badge for every person?

No. Every badge you create is saved and offered in the dropdown the next time you tag someone. Create "Senior Stylist" once and assign it to as many people as you need.

What do customers actually see?

The badge appears on the staff member's card at the point where a customer picks who to book with. It is styled in a lighter shade of your booking widget's primary colour, so it fits your branding without pulling attention away from the name and the booking button. Staff without a badge show nothing at all, with no empty placeholder left behind.

The badge renders the same way on desktop and on mobile, so the experience does not change depending on how a customer reaches you. If you edit or remove a badge, the booking widget picks up the change the next time it loads.

Who should use this?

Any business where a customer can choose between several people for the same service. Salons with junior and senior stylists, clinics with different specialists, and consultancies where seniority affects the price all benefit, because the customer books the right person the first time and you field fewer corrections afterwards.
