Toll-Free Verification Now Needs Your Policy Links
Toll-free verification now asks for two extra things: your Privacy Policy URL and your Terms and Conditions URL. From 15 September 2026, carriers reject any new toll-free verification that does not include both links, so both fields are live now and required before you can submit.
Where do the new fields appear?
Both fields sit on Step 3 of the verification form, the Messaging use case step, directly below your opt-in workflow images. You cannot send the submission until both are filled in. Steps 1 and 2 are unchanged.
Do I need to update numbers I already verified?
No. Existing verified numbers are out of scope and need no update and no re-verification. The requirement applies only to new toll-free verification submissions.
What do I need to have ready?
You need a privacy policy page and a terms and conditions page that are publicly reachable on your website, and the direct link to each. If you do not have them published yet, sort that out before you start the submission rather than partway through it.
Why does this matter?
Before this change the form did not ask for policy links at all, so a missing policy page only came to light when the carrier rejected the submission, after you had already waited. Supplying both links up front keeps new numbers moving.
