Sell Products Straight From Your AI Studio Site

Apps and sites built in AI Studio can now take money. You switch on Payments, choose which of your products the site may sell, and the agent builds a storefront and a hosted checkout into the app for you. It uses the products, orders, payment providers and subscriptions already set up in your Ignite Funnels account, so there is nothing new to connect.

How do I turn payments on?

Payments is a settings tab inside your AI Studio project, at More then Payments. You turn it on, pick test or live mode, choose the products the site is allowed to sell, then ask the agent to add payments. The whole setup takes a few clicks.

1. Make sure the products you want to sell are in your product catalogue.
2. Open your AI Studio project and go to More, then Payments.
3. Turn Payments on.
4. Choose test mode while you are still building, or live mode when you are ready to take real money.
5. Select the products and prices the site is allowed to show and charge. Nothing outside that list can be sold.
6. Set how each product is priced: one fixed price, a chosen set of variations such as sizes, tiers or plans, or the product's full catalogue.
7. Ask the agent to add payments. It shows an approval card for the connection, and once you approve it builds the storefront and checkout.

Which products can my site sell?

Only the products and prices you allow. You pick them in the Payments tab, and the site cannot show or charge for anything else, even if the agent is asked to. Product pages are generated from your catalogue, so listings and detail pages carry your thumbnails and formatted descriptions without you rewriting them.

What does a customer see at checkout?

Customers pay on a hosted checkout page, which means card details are entered and processed on the payment page rather than inside your site's code. The checkout picks up your site's colour scheme instead of looking like a stranger's page, and bot protection runs on every purchase. PayPal express checkout is available for customers who would rather pay that way.

• Buyers can enter coupon codes, and an order discounted all the way to zero completes without a card.
• Carts can hold several products, including more than one subscription.
• The payment code is managed for you. If anything edits it, it is restored on the agent's next turn, so it cannot be broken by accident.

Can I sell a subscription or a monthly plan?

Yes. Subscriptions work in the checkout and in upsells, and a single cart can carry several subscription products at once. They run on the same subscription setup you already use elsewhere in your account.

What is a one-click upsell?

A one-click upsell is an extra offer shown after a customer has paid. They accept it with a single click and never re-enter their card, because the card is already saved from the first purchase. It is the simplest way to raise the value of an order you have already won.

• One-click charging works with saved cards from Stripe, including 3D Secure, as well as Square, Authorize.net, NMI, Adyen and Mercado Pago.
• Any other payment method falls back to the normal payment form.
• An upsell is only charged after the first order is paid, and only once per order, even if the customer has several tabs open.

My project was built in React. Can I still use this?

Payments only works on projects built with TanStack Start, so a React project needs to be migrated first. Go to Project Settings and choose Migrate to SSR. That creates an upgraded copy and leaves your original project untouched and live, so you can test the copy properly before you publish it.

Who should use this?

Any business that wants to sell from a site it built in AI Studio: a shop with a short product list, a service business selling a package or a deposit, or a trainer selling a monthly plan. If your products are already in your catalogue, you are most of the way there.
