Build an Automation by Describing It in Plain Words
Ask AI can now call the Workflow AI agent. That means you can create and edit a full workflow without opening the builder first. Describe what you want and the agent builds it. Because Ask AI also runs on WhatsApp, you can now build a workflow straight from a WhatsApp chat.
What is new
Build from a prompt. Start a new chat in Ask AI, describe the workflow you want, and the agent builds it for you.
Live preview in the panel. The workflow appears right inside Ask AI, so you can see the whole structure without switching screens.
Inspect any step. Click a trigger or action in the preview to see exactly how it is configured.
Conversational edits. Ask the agent to change anything and it updates the workflow in place.
One click into the builder. A button takes you straight into the workflow builder to test and publish.
WhatsApp support. The same workflow creation experience now works over WhatsApp.
How to use it
- Open Ask AI and start a new chat.
- Describe the workflow you want to create.
- Review the workflow in the panel. Click any trigger or action to check its configuration.
- Ask the agent to make changes until it matches what you need.
- Click the button to open the workflow in the workflow builder.
- Run a final test, then publish from the builder.
Why this matters
Building an automation is no longer tied to one screen. The same agent behind Workflow AI is now reachable wherever you are already working, including over WhatsApp when you are away from your desk. Ask AI handles the drafting and the back and forth. The builder stays the place where you check, test and publish, so your review process does not change no matter where the workflow started.
Worth knowing
You cannot edit a workflow by hand inside Ask AI. Use the link in the panel to open it in the workflow builder and make manual changes there. Publishing always happens in the workflow builder, after a final test.
