Take Card Payments Through Adyen in Europe and North America
Adyen is now available as a payment provider in Ignite Funnels. If your business already runs card payments through Adyen, or you sell into Europe and North America and need a provider with strong coverage there, you can connect your merchant account and start taking credit and debit card payments.
How do I connect Adyen?
You connect Adyen from the Payments section using the API credentials from your own Adyen merchant account. The whole thing takes a few minutes, and you can connect test credentials first if you want to try it before going live.
- Make sure your Adyen merchant account is active and approved, and have your credentials to hand.
- Go to Payments in the left menu and open the payment integrations page.
- Click Connect Adyen and add your credentials for live or test, then save.
- Set Adyen as the default payment provider for the channels where you want to take card payments.
What credentials do I need?
For a live connection you need two things from your Adyen account: your Company API Key and your Live URL Prefix. For a test or sandbox connection you only need the Company API Key.

What can I charge with it?
At launch Adyen handles card payments, both credit and debit. It also supports 3DS cards, which adds a security check on international and higher-risk transactions.
Who should use this?
Adyen suits businesses that already hold an Adyen merchant account, or that sell to customers in Europe and North America. Your pricing, your underwriting and the countries you are allowed to operate in are all set by Adyen rather than by Ignite Funnels, so check your Adyen account covers the markets you sell to before you switch your checkout over.
