Send Google Ads Leads Straight Into Your Contacts
You can now connect your Google Ads account to Ignite Funnels so that every lead form submission creates a contact automatically. The lead lands in your contact list the moment someone submits, and it can start a workflow straight away. This removes the download-and-import step that used to sit between a Google Ads lead and your follow-up.
How do I connect my Google Ads account?
You connect once, choose which ad account to pull from, and then map each lead form to the contact fields you want it to fill. After that the sync runs on its own. You can connect more than one Google Ads account and see all their active lead forms in one place.
- Turn the feature on in Labs, under Settings then Integrations.
- Open the integrations view and install Google Lead Ads.
- Sign in with the Google account attached to your Google Ads.
- Choose the ad account you want to pull leads from.
- Review the campaigns and lead forms that appear.
- Switch sync on and map each form's questions to your contact fields.
- Activate the connection so leads begin flowing.
- Build your follow-up using the Google Lead Form Submitted trigger.
What happens when someone submits a lead form?
A contact is created in Ignite Funnels every time a lead is submitted on a form you have connected and mapped. The answers from the form land in the contact fields you mapped them to. If the form is connected but not mapped, the lead will not create a contact, so mapping is the step worth checking first.
Can I follow up automatically?
Yes. A trigger called Google Lead Form Submitted is available when you build a workflow, and it fires as soon as a mapped form is submitted. Use it to send a WhatsApp message or SMS, assign the lead to someone, or add it to a pipeline while the enquiry is still fresh.
Who should set this up?
Any business running Google Ads lead form campaigns and handling those enquiries by hand. If you are currently exporting leads from Google Ads and importing them, this replaces that routine entirely.
You will find this under Settings, then Integrations, once the feature is enabled in Labs.
This update was originally released in December 2025. Menu locations may have changed since.
