Change a Price on One Booking, Not All of Them
You can now edit a service's price directly on an appointment, before you save it. The new price applies to that one booking only, and the service's standard price stays exactly as you configured it. This covers the everyday cases where the real figure differs from the list price: a negotiated rate, a loyal customer discount, or a one-off job that needed extra work.
How do I set a different price on one appointment?
Open the appointment and edit the price next to the service. The total updates immediately so you can see the final figure before saving.
- Open the service appointment you are creating, editing or duplicating.
- Click the edit icon next to the service.
- Enter the new price for that service.
- Save as normal. The custom price applies only to this appointment.
Will this change the price for my other customers?
No. A price edit applies to that single appointment and nothing else. The service's global price is never touched, so every other booking keeps charging your standard rate.
If a staff member has their own custom price set for a service, the price you enter on the appointment overrides that too. The appointment always charges whatever you typed on it.
How do I tell later that a booking used a custom price?
Any edited price is marked with a Custom tag right beside the amount. That makes it obvious at a glance, when you or your team look back at the booking, that this one was not charged at the standard rate.
Can I set a price of zero?
Yes. Zero is accepted, which covers complimentary services and goodwill gestures. Negative values are blocked with a clear error before the appointment can be saved.
Does this work on the mobile app?
Yes. You can edit a service's price for an appointment from the mobile app exactly as you would on a computer. Staff working out of the shop can charge the agreed figure on the spot instead of settling it offline and fixing the record later.
