Let Community Members Message Each Other Directly

Members can now message each other directly inside GoKollab, without swapping phone numbers or moving to another app. Anyone can start a conversation with a member they share a group with. All those chats sit in one searchable view.

Who can a member message?

A member can message anyone they share a community group with. Conversations start straight from the community discussion page, so someone reads a useful comment and can follow up with its author in the same moment. There is no need to look up contact details first.

Where do the conversations live?

All chats appear in a single organised view that members can search. That keeps threads from getting lost as a community grows and someone builds up more contacts. Members are notified when a new message arrives, so replies do not depend on them checking.

Why would I want members talking privately?

Members who form real relationships with each other stay subscribed far longer than members who only consume your content. Direct messaging gives them a reason to keep coming back that does not depend on you posting. It also means collaboration and follow-up happen inside your community rather than on WhatsApp, where you lose sight of it entirely.

Who should switch this on?

Any paid community, mastermind or peer group where the value is partly in the other members. It matters less for a community that works as a one-way content library. Nothing needs configuring for members to start using it.
