Run Your Follow-Ups From Your Phone Without Retyping Them
Tasks in the Ignite Funnels mobile app have been rebuilt. You can now set a task to repeat on a schedule, link it to a deal and to several contacts at once, and see who a task is for without opening it. If your day is a stream of follow-ups, this removes most of the retyping.
What can the new Tasks do that the old one couldn't?
The old mobile Tasks tab allowed one contact per task, had no way to repeat a task, and showed everything as one long list. Tasks V2 adds recurring tasks, opportunity links, multiple contacts and a board view. Routine follow-ups now run themselves instead of being created by hand each time.
- Recurring tasks — repeat a task hourly, daily, weekly or monthly, and end it on a date or after a set number of times.
- Link to opportunities — connect a task to a deal, not just a contact, so every follow-up ties back to the money it brings in.
- Multiple contacts — attach several contacts to a single task instead of duplicating it.
- List and board views — see your tasks as a simple list or a visual board.
- Today's progress ring — a ring fills as you complete the day's tasks.
- Organised sections — tasks group themselves into Overdue, Today, This Week and Upcoming, in both views.
- More on the card — the linked contact and opportunity appear on the task tile, so you don't have to open it.

How do I create a recurring task?
Create the task as normal, then turn on Repeat before saving. You choose how often it repeats and when it stops, and the app creates each new instance for you on schedule.
- Open the Tasks tab in the mobile app.
- Tap the + button.
- Add the title, due date, contact or contacts, and the opportunity it relates to.
- Assign a teammate if someone else is handling it.
- Turn on Repeat and set the frequency and end condition.
- Save.

How do I switch between list and board view?
A view switcher sits at the top of the Tasks tab. List view keeps everything in order down the page, while board view lays your tasks out in columns you can scan at a glance. Both views use the same Overdue, Today, This Week and Upcoming sections, so nothing hides at the bottom of a long list.

Who should use this?
Anyone who runs follow-ups away from a desk. Sales staff can repeat a weekly check-in call without recreating it, account managers can link one task to a company and its contact, and small teams can assign work and watch it close during the day.
You'll find it in the Tasks tab of the Ignite Funnels mobile app.
