Discount One Size or One Option, Not the Whole Product

Coupons that land exactly where you meant them to

You can now apply a coupon to a specific price or variant inside a product, instead of being limited to the whole product. That means you can run a promotion on the large size only, or on one pricing tier, without duplicating products or stripping out variants as a workaround.

Choosing what the coupon covers

• A coupon can apply to an entire product, as before, or to specific prices or variants within it.
• When you pick products during coupon creation, a nested selection view lets you choose all prices and variants under a product, or just the individual ones you want.
• Selecting the whole product automatically includes every current and future price or variant.
• This works on new coupons and on existing ones, through Edit.

At checkout

Every supported checkout respects the new rules, including funnels, forms, your store, payment links and calendars. A coupon only applies if the price or variant the customer picked matches what you configured.

Existing subscriptions and past transactions carry on using the older coupon logic, so nothing already running is affected.

In your automations

Workflow triggers now understand this extra level of detail. On triggers such as Coupon Code Applied and Coupon Code Redeemed, you can filter by product and then by price or variant.

These are dependent filters: you select the product first, and the price and variant options under it become available. That lets you build automations that only run when a particular variant is bought with a coupon, or target follow-up based on a specific pricing tier.

Nothing breaks

• Existing coupons keep working as they are.
• Existing subscriptions and their future payments are not affected.
• The new logic applies only to newly created coupons, updated coupons and future orders.

Where to find it

Go to Payments, then Coupons, then create or edit a coupon and choose prices or variants within the products you select. The matching filters sit under Automation, then Workflows, on the coupon triggers.
