Let People Finish Your Form Later Without Starting Over

A long form loses people the moment their connection drops or they close the tab, and until now that meant starting from question one. A new Save exit confirmation toggle saves a respondent's answers automatically if they leave before submitting, and offers to restore them when they come back. It works on multi-step forms, surveys and quizzes.

How do I switch it on?

It is a single toggle in the settings of each form, survey or quiz, and it is off until you enable it. Existing forms carry on exactly as they are until you turn it on for them.

1. Open the Settings tab for your form, survey or quiz.
2. Turn on the Save exit confirmation toggle.

What does the person filling it in see?

If they close the browser, refresh the page or navigate away before submitting, their answers are kept. When they open the same form again, a Resume Progress window appears and offers them a choice: carry on from where they stopped, or start over with a blank submission.

Will it look like part of my form?

Yes. The Resume Progress window picks up your existing branding rather than appearing as a generic system message. The button colour is taken from the footer colour you configured, and the text uses the label font you already chose. It works the same on desktop and on a phone.

What should I know before turning it on?

Progress is only saved while the toggle is on, and it applies to multi-step forms, surveys and quizzes. Anything you have already published keeps behaving as before until you enable the setting for it.
