Fix SEO Problems on a Website You Built Elsewhere
You can now run the SEO tool against a website that was not built in Ignite Funnels. Adding a small tracking script to the site connects it, after which you get AI recommendations and one-click fixes for common problems. That means a WordPress site, a Shopify store or a site an outside developer built can all be improved from the same place.
Which SEO problems can it fix automatically?
Once the site is connected, the tool applies fixes to the on-page elements search engines rely on most. You approve the fix and it is applied to the live site without you editing any code.

How do I connect my existing website?
Connecting a site means copying one installation script and adding it to the pages of that site. Once the script is detected, the SEO tool can read the site and start suggesting fixes. If your site is built on a platform with a header or custom code field, that is usually where the script goes.
- Open the SEO app and go to the AI Recommendations tab.
- If no script is detected, follow the on-screen instructions to copy the installation script.
- Add the script to your website.
- Wait for the script to be detected, then start fixing issues from the same tab.
Why does this matter for my business?
Most small businesses end up with more than one web property, such as an older company site plus newer landing pages. This lets you apply the same SEO standards to all of them instead of only the pages built here. You also get the recommendations applied instantly rather than sending a list of changes to a developer and waiting.
