Drag Form Fields Into Place Without Fighting the Scroll

Dragging elements around in the form, survey and quiz builders now scrolls the page for you when you reach the top or bottom edge. A soft grey shadow follows the element so you can see exactly where it will land before you let go. Building a long form no longer means dropping an element halfway, scrolling, and picking it up again.

What happens when I drag something now?

The element you are dragging shows a grey shadow marking its landing position, and the other fields shift smoothly to make room. When you move near the top or bottom of the visible area, the page scrolls on its own in that direction. You keep hold of the element the whole way.

How do I move a field to the very bottom of a long form?

Pick the field up and hold it near the bottom edge of the builder. The page scrolls down while you hold it there, and you release when you reach the position you want. There is no separate scroll step and no need to drop and re-grab.

Does this apply to surveys and quizzes too?

Yes. The same behaviour works across the form builder, the survey builder and the quiz builder, so it behaves identically wherever you are arranging fields.
