See Whether Your Automated WhatsApp Messages Arrived

August 05, 2026

WhatsApp delivery statistics now sit inside the workflow itself, so you can see how every automated message performed without going anywhere else. Open the WhatsApp action in any workflow and you get the full picture: how many were sent, how many are still pending, how many were delivered, how many were read and how many failed. You can also open any single message to see who it went to and exactly when each step happened.

What can I see for each workflow?

You get the same delivery statuses Meta reports back for every WhatsApp message, counted against the workflow action that sent them. That means a drop in delivery or a spike in failures shows up next to the automation responsible for it, rather than somewhere you have to go looking.

  • Totals for sent, pending, delivered, read and failed.
  • A date range selector, so you can check one campaign or one sending window instead of all time.
  • A message-level view with the recipient and precise timestamps.
  • An export, so you can pull the numbers out for your own reporting.
  • A refresh button that pulls the latest statuses in place, with no page reload.

How do I open the statistics?

The statistics live on the WhatsApp action inside the workflow builder, so you reach them the same way you would edit the message. Open the workflow, click the action, and switch to the statistics view.

  1. Go to Automation and open the workflow that contains a WhatsApp action.
  2. Click the WhatsApp action and select Statistics.
  3. Review the totals and open any individual message for its detail.
  4. Use the date range selector to narrow the view to the period you care about.
  5. Open all statistics and click Export to download the data.

Why does this matter for my business?

WhatsApp delivery is never guaranteed. Messages can sit pending, fail outright, or simply never arrive, and until now that outcome was invisible from inside the automation that sent them. Seeing delivered, read and failed counts against the workflow responsible means you catch a delivery problem at its source and can export the detail when you need to investigate it properly.

You will find it under Automation, on the WhatsApp action inside any workflow.
