Tell Your Dashboard When Going Down Is Good News
Every number stat on a dashboard widget carries a trend badge showing an up or down arrow and the percentage change. You can now decide, per widget, whether an increase or a decrease should be coloured green for good or red for needs attention.
That matters for the metrics where lower is better. Unsubscribe rate, bounce rate, churn and cost per lead no longer show a misleading green arrow when they climb.

How do I change it?
The setting lives in the widget's own Configure panel, under Advanced settings. It only appears once a comparison date range is set, because the trend badge needs something to compare against.
- Open the widget's Configure panel.
- Under Advanced settings, set the Date range override and the Comparison date range.
- Choose whether the metric's increase or decrease is positive. Pick Increase is positive, which is the default, or Decrease is positive, based on how the metric should be read.
- Save. The trend badge colour updates automatically.
Does it work on every chart type?
Yes. The setting applies no matter which chart type you have chosen for the widget, whether that is Number, Line or Bar. The trend badge appears consistently across all of them whenever a comparison date range is set.
Will this change my existing dashboards?
No. Every widget you already have defaults to Increase is positive, which is how they behave today. Nothing changes colour until you go in and update that widget yourself.
Which metrics should I switch?
Any metric where a smaller number is the better outcome. A falling unsubscribe rate then shows green because that is good news, while a falling count of delivered emails still shows red because that needs your attention.
- Unsubscribe rate
- Bounce rate
- Churn
- Cost per lead
You will find this in the widget's Configure panel, under Advanced settings.
