Basic Troubleshooting to Try Before Contacting Support
Try these quick, low-risk checks when a page, button, message or feature in Ignite Funnels is not working as expected. Stop if an action could create duplicate messages, payments, contacts, appointments or other records.
Before you begin
Note the page, the action you took and the exact error message. Hide any personal or sensitive information before taking screenshots.
1. Check the account and your access
- You are signed in to the correct account or location.
- Your role includes access to the feature.
- The right customer or record is selected.
- The channel or connection you need is active.
2. Refresh and try once more
Refresh the page once, then repeat the action once. Do not keep clicking Send, Save, Submit or Pay, because that can create duplicates.
3. Check your connection
Open another website to confirm your internet connection is working. Reconnect if needed, then go back to Ignite Funnels.
4. Try a private window
Open app.ignitefunnels.com in a private or incognito window, sign in and test the same action once. If it works there, saved browser data or an extension is probably interfering.
5. Try another browser
Use another up-to-date browser and repeat the action once. Do not install unapproved software on a work-managed device.
6. Clear site data (if allowed)
If your business allows it, clear the cache and cookies for the Ignite Funnels site only, then sign in again. This may sign you out and remove saved preferences. Do not clear saved passwords unless you understand the effect.
7. Record the result
If the problem continues, note:
- What you tried to do and the exact steps
- What you expected, and what actually happened
- The full error message
- The date and approximate time
- Your device and browser
- Which checks above you tried, and the result of each
- A screenshot or short recording with sensitive details hidden
Then report the issue through the help button. Work through the checks in order and stop as soon as the problem is fixed. Do not make unrelated account changes while troubleshooting.
Stop and contact Support straight away if
- You suspect someone has accessed your account without permission
- Customer or account information has been exposed
- You see incorrect or unexpected payment activity
- There is a widespread outage
- An action could delete data
- Duplicate records or messages keep appearing
Frequently asked questions
Should I keep retrying an action?
No. Retry once after a safe check. Repeated attempts can create duplicates and make the problem harder to investigate.
Why does it work in a private window?
Saved browser data or an extension may be affecting your normal browser.
Should I clear all my browser data?
No. Only clear data for the Ignite Funnels site, and only if your business allows it.
How can I tell if it is my account or the platform?
Try the same action in a private window, another browser or another device. If only your login or device is affected, it is likely account or browser specific. If several colleagues see the same thing, it may be a wider issue. Share what you found with Support rather than guessing the cause.
