How to Connect Your Domain to an Ignite Funnels Website
Use this guide to connect your own domain, such as yourbusiness.co.ke, to an Ignite Funnels website or funnel and check it is working.
Before you begin
- You can log in to your domain provider (registrar) and edit its DNS settings.
- Your website or funnel already exists in Ignite Funnels.
- You know the exact domain or subdomain (for example www.yourbusiness.co.ke or shop.yourbusiness.co.ke) and which website it should show.
How to connect your domain
- Open domain settings. Sign in and open the Domains area of your settings.
- Add a domain. Choose to connect an existing domain and enter the domain or subdomain.
- Pick the website. Select the Ignite Funnels website or funnel it should point to.
- Copy the DNS records. Note the exact records shown, then open your domain provider's DNS settings in another tab.
- Add the records and verify. Add each record exactly as shown, save, then go back to Ignite Funnels and click verify.
- Confirm it is live. After DNS has updated, check the domain shows as connected and secure (with a padlock in the browser).
For what each record type means, see Understanding DNS Records for Domain Connection.

Frequently asked questions
Can I connect both the main domain and a subdomain?
Yes, as separate connections. Follow the records shown for each one.
How long does it take?
DNS changes often work within an hour but can take up to 48 hours. The secure certificate is usually issued shortly after the domain connects.
Should I delete my existing DNS records?
No. Only remove or replace a record if the instructions shown specifically say so, because other records may run your email.
