How to Purchase a Domain for Your Business

Use this guide to search for an available domain, check the purchase details and confirm your business owns it.

Before you begin

• You are authorised to buy a domain for the business.
• You have your preferred domain name and a few alternatives.
• You have the billing, owner (registrant) and renewal details ready.

How to buy a domain

1. Open Domains. Sign in and open the Domains area of your settings.
2. Search. Enter the domain name you want and review the results.
3. Choose an available domain. Check the spelling and the extension (for example .com) carefully.
4. Review the details: price, registration period, renewal terms, contact information and who will own it.
5. Complete the purchase only after checking every detail.
6. Confirm it is registered. Check the domain now appears in your account, and keep the confirmation.

Kenyan domains (.co.ke, .ke)
